Film Festival
In April 2025 Friends of the Farms hosted our inaugural film festival at the Bainbridge Island Museum of Art. This sold-out event featured a curated selection of films centered on Farming, Food, and Community—highlighting the vital connections between agriculture, sustainability, and local well-being.
The evening featured beautiful storytelling and inspiring local voices, shared by a community that clearly cares deeply about food, farming, and the future we’re all shaping together.
We’ve heard from many who attended that this event stood out not only for the compelling films but also for the clarity and hope offered by our panelists, each of whom brought their own perspective and background. Despite the late hour, many stayed through the final question — a testament to the importance of the conversation and the strength of this community.
We feel both nourished and inspired by all who spent the evening with us.
If you missed the opportunity, we will bring the event back in 2026!
