For the past four years, students gathered at Johnson Farm for the La Ronda Spanish Immersion Camp ¡Vamos a Jugar! (Let’s Play!) Led by Mabi Gutarra, La Ronda’s curriculum is flexible to meet the children's needs and kindle their. Having Johnson Farm as a place to gather is important to their core belief that “Children thrive in constant interaction with the elements and their appreciation for nature grows naturally. Children also thrive in community. Their innate need for communication helps them to embrace new ways of human expression and other cultures and languages.”
